Papemelroti

What's a Papemelroti?
It is actually the combination of the first syllables of five names - Patsy, Peggy, Meldy, Robert, and Tina.   They are the children of Benny and Corit Alejandro, who started the papemelroti business. Papemelroti is a specialty shop which carries a wide variety of gifts and decorative accessories. Papemelroti’s history began in November, 1968, when Benny and Corit opened a small gift shop along Tomas Morato Ave. (Manila, Philippines).  Korben Gifts, as it was called back then, started out as a hobby, with Corit making stuffed toys and doll’s dresses and Benny supervising the furniture making.

Before Kev and I went toPasay, we saw a big Papemelroti branch on the right side of the road. I told him to stop so we can buy something. Since high school, I am a fan of this store! A vintage vibe and the smell of recycled papers are amazeballs!

It is located at Korben Place, ground floor and second floor.

This is where all the newest Papemelroti products come from to be distributed to all the branches.

This is also where resellers can get the biggest discounts! The furniture showrooms are also here where you can get a wide range of choices for your home!

The cashier told us not to take pictures but yes we did discreetly!

A lovely vintage cabinet!

I even asked the cashier if it's okay to have a photoshoot for Les' Moda. Not so lucky!

If you guys don't know Papemelroti. They sell variety of vintage and recycled stuff. So eco-friendly with boxes, papers and accessories! Affordable yet classy!

The stairway leading to vintage clothes or should I say pre-loved clothes.

The second floor with mannequins and cute cut-outs!

Every time I buy in Papemelroti, it has been always a nice way to keep the brown paper bag and use it as a wrapper for gifts! You must be proud of yourself if you do this 'cause you're helping our environment.

Try to visit Papemelroti's main branch! Way way vintage!

 Always & Forever,
Bella
